Milestones
Flight Path Creative officially opened in a 200 square foot office space on the west side of downtown Traverse City, Michigan. With a couple of clients, just enough equipment, and some talented freelancers, things accelerated quickly in this first year.
In 2005, it became apparent that Flight Path Creative would need to add full-time staff. Our first hire was a graphic designer with a solid pre-press background. With the digital side of the business growing so rapidly, a developer was subsequently added to the team. With more growth on the horizon, Flight Path Creative moved into a larger office four blocks east of the original space.
By the end of 2007, the team had grown to eight people. To accommodate the expanding business, Flight Path Creative moved into the office space we occupied until 2022. The second floor at 117 1/2 South Union in downtown Traverse City was completely remodeled and customized to Flight Path Creative's specifications.
Although working directly with local and regional clients had been the foundation, Flight Path Creative started working on projects for larger agencies throughout the United States.
To better serve the growing client base, Flight Path Creative expanded into Grand Rapids with an office downtown, at 25 Ionia.
Having grown to a team of 16, Flight Path Creative expands to more closely support our West Coast clients with an office in San Diego, California.
FPC purchased and restored a downtown Traverse City headquarters building. This historic location once served as the VFW hall in the early 1900s.
